About Us

We are Jérémie Harvey Perron and Mylène Marion, a French Canadian filmmaking duo based in Québec.

In 2018, we began traveling across North America, exploring different ways of living. During this period, we encountered several land-based intentional communities. These experiences raised lasting questions about collective life, land stewardship, and alternative social organization.

What began as a period of travel became a long-term inquiry into collective life and the conditions that sustain it.

Without institutional backing at the outset, we chose to invest our own time and resources to document communities who had committed to collective living. Over time, the project developed into OtherWise: Living in Harmony.

This first season was filmed in British Columbia and is currently entering its public screening phase.
The project continues to evolve as conversations deepen and new contexts emerge.
